I can’t remember where I got this photo.. but this is beyond coolness.. the room is so organized.. I would love to have this kind of set up for my boys.. that is if they would be willing to sleep in another room without mommy.

Last nigt, the ids and I were talking. They say they wanna try sleeping on their own room. I am secreting a 3 to 4 bedroom house. Haha. Wish I can have that next year. My first plan is to give the two older boys, their own room. Can you just imagine that? My two boys sharing a room. I even looked for cool bed for them. I want a bed for them that can be very functional. Bed that can also be a loft or where they can organize their clothes and their things under it.

The one above seems nice. See how functional it can be and how the spaced are maximized? Even the stairs are used as drawers. I can ask someone to make a bed like that formy kids, have it in blue and the boys will surely love it.
But! I also like the image above. It is so cool and the colors are so right. And lookie, just like the photo above, every area are maximized. Under the bed seems to be the closet and then under the platform, there is also a pull out bed. Great! specially if my kids will have a sleep over with their friends. COOL!
If there is something that I love, oh wait, I love everything about being a homemaker. OK, let’s do it again.. If there is one thing that I look forward as a homemaker, that is shopping for furniture. Right now, I can smell wood, leather and cushion. I love looking at different furniture designs and looking for the best deal in town. I even know where to find the cheapest and sturdy office furniture. Right now, I need to upgrade my little office furniture. You know I work at home right? Anyways, I used to have a computer table but during the flood, it was severely damaged. Now, I am only using an office table. I am happy with my office table because I can write and do some artworks in it while I am not using the computer. But I think it would be more comfortable to me if my PC have a place of its own. Anyways, I still have to rearrange our house furniture before I start shopping for my office. *wink
Where to find cheap furniture in the Philippines?
As a homemaker, I always look for cheap items with high quality. When it comes to furniture, my top choice is not malls but a stretch of furniture shop in Abad Santos in Caloocan. The area is located just below the LRT track. If you are traveling by Public Transport, just ride the LRT and stop at the ABAD SANTOS station. There are more than twenty furniture shops there. The secret to finding the best deal is to ask around first. Canvass the area for the prizes and compare. You can even find baby items there. I bought Chico’s’ first crib there, a wooden crib that is usually priced 5000 Php (plus $100) at malls, but I got there for only 2700 PhP (plus $50). I got it half the mall price. DOn’t expect though that you will get your furniture half the mall price, usually you can get 20% to 40% off the mall price.
We have been in the area numerous time and as always, we got what we want at the most reasonable price. We got our dinning table there, Chico’s crib, Sati’s crib, our new sala set and even the kid’s supposed to be study table (now a toy storage). If we will have our own house, we will be back there for sure.
