Wall Decors

One of my friend commented that our wall looks like a baby announcements card. She says that all the squares and circles and rectangles on our wall make it look like a baby card. It’s true, our wall looks like a nursery. Ever since I had a kid I always make sure to put something on the wall to help them in their development. I have done numerous ABCDs complete with illustrations. I have lost count on how many circles I cut and pasted on the wall.

Now I am in the process of creating 3 alphabet posters. One for my niece, one for our bedroom and one on our living room. I will also make numbers, from 1 to 10. And will have to cut circle, square, rectangle and more shapes for Sati. Yes, for now, our wall decors are limited to those, ABCDs, numbers and shapes, but who’s complaining? definitely not me.

Shoe Racks

Arranging shoes can be hard at times, specially if you have a lot of kids. Most of the time, it gives me a head ache to remind my boys to put their shoes in the proper place. They never learned! And I still can’t have a shoe rack since my third boy is still a toddler, I don’t want to see home sniffing on his older brother shoes or worst munching on it. The solution I got was to place their shoes on a box. The older boys got a box of their own while the youngest boy got a box of his own too. The youngest boy got the most shoes, uh well, he is the youngest and all the shoes that his older brothers (and cousins) outgrew can fit him now. He had fun trying it all out.

But when they got older and when I start collecting mbt shoes, I will buy me a nice good shoe rack. It’s a good kind of shoes so I really have to take good care of it. So you got any tips on how to properly store shoes? I believe there are lots of tips regarding shoe storage but it all boils down to one thing, the number of shoes you have and number of shoes you plan to put there.

The home is where the heart is. Where is your home? A house is not a home.

At home here is another blogs maintained by Pehpot. This blog site is all about “Home”. And you can easily identify the categories and it’s not hard to find the things you need to know. If you want to know how to organize your things you can check out Pehpot’s guides in “Organizing” category. I am an organizing freak; yeah I admit it I surely am. I don’t know if I am OC like Pehpot but sometimes I just can’t take it anymore. Messes my son make, sometimes I want to put all his toy cars in one box and the blocks into another in order to keep the room clean and organized. And I got an idea from Pehpot to buy big boxes like she got in here. Maybe it’s easier to clean if you do have boxes that’s big and can store many toys.

And like Pehpot I also have mosquito killer that shaped like a racket. It is her first purchase for the year but my mom bought it 6 months ago. My son is asthmatic and my mom bought him a nebulizer and Pehpot recommends every home with kids to buy one too.

For housewives or housebands or housekeepers out there, check out Pehpot’s At Home Here site and you’ll find it amazing.

Thanks Zoan for the very warm review. As usual just comment here your paypal id here.

Magnitude 6.1 – MINDORO, PHILIPPINES

Our afternoon nap was disturbed by a 4 something magnitude earthquake. I am just guessing the magnitude but I learned that the epicenter of the earthquake was in Mindoro, Philippines. The earthquake was 6.1 magnitude.

Me and my youngest was lying on our bed when I noticed it was shaking. Since I just finished rocking her to sleep, I thought it was just an aftershock of our rocking moment. When it did not stopped, I look around if someone’s rocking the bed. No, it is a real earthquake. I started to panic when the shake goes stronger and asked hubby if he can feel it. Er, he is so engrossed.. he said no..

If it did not stopped, I would have rushed down and look for someplace where we can be safe. It was really scary. Now I think I will post some article here on what to do when the earth starts to shake.
