Gift Idea: Picture Frame

I receive this as a gift last December and I was very happy about it. I admit I am not a picture person, in fact we don’t even have a picture frame here on the house.. but this one so beautiful and I intend to keep it until I have a use on it.

Well, the main reason why we do not have picture frames is because of the kids. It would just be too risky to put frames on the wall or on the table. The kids are all rowdy and it might break down. But if I have my own house, I will designate a place with picture frames on it.. hmm, maybe in time I might even collect picture frames from different places and countries.

Valentines Day Decoration Ideas

I don’t do this. I don’t decorate my house for Valentine’s day but I had to look for Valentines Day Decoration Ideas for my son. They were asked to bring Vday decorations for their classroom. And you know me, I don’t go for simple decorations. As much as possible I want it to be unique and yet easy to do. So while I grab the chance to look for decoration ideas while I was browsing for mens ties. Most of the decorations I found were made of hearts, red, hearts and red. So I guess, will have to play with that, hearts and red. I decided to include some pink and some white. I made a boquet of roses (in red and in pink) and put it in a white vase (news paper made).

I made flowers from hearts! will post the tutorial soon as I am still compiling the photos.

Other Valentines Day Decoration Ideas are:

  • Hearts in red, pink and white made as chime
  • Decorate your sala set with little hear shape pillow. For a change, dress your sofa red and put small pillows in white and pink.
  • Give your wall some flavor, stencil little hearts on your wall (make it appear like stardust)

This Valentine’s Day it is up to you to decorate your house or not, it doesn’t matter as long as your house is vibrating with love, love, love.

The Biggest House

possible.. I want that. something that has large bedrooms and an work room for me and husband (where my wigs collection will be housed and our future i7). And of course aside from sleeping room, we also want a playroom for the kids aka mess room. This is where they play and mess with their toys. And I also realized that it is better to allot a room for the helper. I mean a room that is made for them. I realized that when you allow them to sleep on regular room, they somewhat feel that they are family too. They tend to take advantage of their employer. Giving them a quarter’s room will be a reminder of what they really are in the house.

But of course the biggest room (I mean aside from the maters bedroom) will be the kitchen. I want it to be so big that it can house a lot of cooking tools and a lot of cabinets for our food. But deciding the design of the kitchen is really hard. There is so many designs that are really great. So I guess, this area will take a lot of the building process..oh I should have the biggest room in the title 🙂

Curtains In Our Bedroom

Blinds, curtains and the likes. We often heard of it in home making or home makers discussion. And yesterday, after a long debate with myself, I finally put u the curtains in our room. Yup, we never had one. What kind of homemaker I am right? It just so happens that our bedroom’s window are covered with boards, so I thought there is no need for blinds or curtains. Yesterday I do not what’s gotten into me that I put it up. My husband was like a football player who just received football gifts, he was really glad that the room has curtains. The kids too liked it better now. Make me feel more guilty why I never put it earlier.

When we have our new house (there I said it.. yup the reason why I need to earn more and save even more), I will make it a point to have curtains or blinds on each window.

A Complete House

Have you ever wonder how it is to leave in a house where it is almost complete? A house where you had a big entertainment room. Talk about giant LED TV and big speakers and really great players. A house where you have your own set of gym equipments like pull up bar, or a house with a small swimming pool? It is really nice to dream things like that but in reality we always have to be practical. As I have read in an interview of a local celebrity, she mentioned that having a swimming pool in their backyard is not on their list. She reason out that most subdivision have club house where there is a swimming pool, so constructing one inside your yard is not practical. I have to agree with her. Before I used to think that it would be really cool to have your own swimming pool. But when I think about the cleaning part and the part where you have to dispose the water, I cringe.
