Thanksgiving Decors

Throughout the year, every home is decorated differently. The home decors always changes, from time to time, according to seasons and according to style. It’s not like best hair loss product, as long as it is working, is is being used by costumers. Decors are not the same. Every year the fashionable and in for home decors also changes. One of the most awaited part of the year is Thanksgiving and home makers always find the time to make their home filled with Thanksgiving decors.

In order to bring the beauty of outdoor inside the house, a person must make creative table settings, Thanksgiving centrepieces and wreaths that are home made.

Things to consider in making the home more festive like this Thanksgiving:

  • Lighting – Budget wise, use the lighting you already have in your home, put ceiling lights and lamps on dimmer, you can also use candle lights and put them on the table but keep in mind that in using scented candles avoid using different scents.
  • Music – The perfect choice is low background music.

Birthday party? Here in our country, traditionally, there are must ave or must be in every birthday party. For example, on children’s party, it should have a birthday cake. And back then, there should be a palayok or the local pinata. Aside from that, there should be a pabitin (hanging game). This is a type of game where in the prizes are hanging in a square bamboo made hanger. The hanger was drag up and down and the kids jump to get the prizes. In most adult party celebration, karaoke machine is always present. That shows how much Filipinos love singing and music. Of course in usual adult parties, rice and dishes are present. And in some, party is not complete without a beer.

Pinoy Henyo Game

This photo was taken last year, last December 24 (midnight) to be exact. We were playing some Christmas games and you guessed it right, Pinoy Henyo. This is a game popularized by the longest running noon time show, Eat Bulaga. Based on logic and sharpness of mind, hence henyo or in English term, Genius.

That’s my sister and her keyword is Google.. bwahahaha

Downy Isang Banlaw Is My Shoe

I am not wearing APRON, I am wearing SHOE today! SHOE is Seven Heaven On Earth, seven things that make you happy today. I am doing this in all my blogs and so far, I can only feel happiness because of it. Today is laundry day and that is something I look forward to! Here are my SHOE today:

  1. Doing the laundry in 2 hours because of Downy Isang Banlaw.
  2. Downy Isang Banlaw.
  3. Downy Antibacterial. Since I discovered this, I no longer have to dry the my kids’ clothing in the sun.
  4. Seeing the Mega Bloks that are well organized (oh my, that word again!)
  5. The thought of cleaning our room using AJAX is very enticing. I hope I can do it next week.
  6. The clothes are dry now! It’s folding time and that is not included on  my SHOE because I dread folding time.
  7. Seeing the laundry area clean and clutter free and the laundry bin with less clothes. Another laundry had passed and I am really glad!

I will be sleeping early today, got tired doing the laundry 🙂
