Why Choose Coiled Bulbs?

In every homes nowadays, they no longer use incandescent lamps or fluorescent lights, most houses are now using coiled bubs or CFL. They say that this kind of light is energy saver and consumes less electricity.

I want to learn more about this kind of light and the news about mercury and all. Some are claiming that the use of coiled bulbs can be harmful to the environment because of the mercury inside it. I have heard that this type of bulb should be disposed properly.

But why choose coiled bulbs in your home?

CFL has a longer span and it can give you savings since it use lesser electricity.

 

Bunk Bed For The Boys

Remember I posted that in Walmart you can find great kiddie bed selection? Well, I find the great bed for my boys! While we were talking, they mentioned that when the time comes that they need to sleep on their own bed, both of them wants to be on th upper bed. And I just knew bunk bed is the answer. The photo in my last post was a blah blah compare to this. This bunk bed was so organized that it also has a study table. The seems to be like a drawer on the left side is actually a table. The kids can use it and after they did, they can just put it under their bed. It’s a space saver bed too! Another thing that I like about this bed is the ladder which is not that steep and tall. The shelf beside the table is another cool feature of this bed.

At Walmart, this bed is priced at $459.88, I wonder how much this kind of bed is here in our country. Maybe around 20-30K PhP is my guess, or even more since our import tax here is high. It also says in  the product description that this bunk bed comes in 3 separate boxes and needs to be assembled. I need 3 of this bed!

 

 

 

 

 

 

I Want My Own Water World!

Dreaming can be fun right? So yes, when I finally had my dream backyard, I want the other side to be like enchanted Kingdom’s Biki Waterworld! 3 water attractions is not bad for a start right?


 

The first photo is a Beach Ball Sprinkler, $14.97 at Walmart (yes, I have been snooping  at Walmart the whole week). It’s very simple to set up. I can even have 2 or 3 of this on my backyard.

The second one is Banzai Cannonball Splash Backyard Inflatable Water Slide priced at $39.97. Body boards will make this inflatable slide more fun! It will be very nice to see the kids enjoying this water slide.

The last photo and the most expensive one is Banzai Hydro Blast Inflatable Water Park, a whooping $898.00. It has dual lane slide and a curve slide and a water blasting cannons. It says on the product description that this one is easy to set up.. but with the requirement of continuous airflow, I think my electricity bill will suffer LOL.

Now if I want to purchase it all, I would need $952.94!! waaaaah

The Lady Who Say No To Plastic

A few months ago, whenever I asked a vendor not to put my items to a plastic bag, I got a confused stare or a smirk or a tease. Then they would comment about being eco friendly (in a sarcastic tone). That’s how people react to us being green.

Recently though when  I bought some custom pins, I noticed that they no longer give me the same reaction. Now, they would just nod and remember me as the lady who say no to plastic.

 

Real Estate’s Marketing Strategy

You have definitely experienced this lot of times; a housing or condominium sales agent would come near you and hand out flyers about the property that they are marketing. In some cases, you may have taken those flyers either out of pity to the person handing it out or you the real estate property may have raised your interest. The giving out of flyers is a tried and tested marketing strategy often used by real estate developers. However, there is a big risk that those people receiving it may not even take time to read or take a look at it. Admit it or not, these flyers either find its way in the trash bin or may be lying on the table.

Flyers should not be worded, because not all people are interested on reading what is written on it. Since it is the most used and abused way of promoting housing projects or new condominiums, it should contain a catchy phrase that would make the person interested in checking it out. Photos are also essential in coming up with effective marketing material such as this. Sales agents of the housing projects and condominiums can easily refer to the pictures in case a potential customer would need to have an idea about the property being sold.

There are different marketing strategies to use to sell a product or service. You may have the most industrious people who are willing to give out flyers at 8 hours a day. But if this marketing material fails to catch the attention of a potential buyer, then it would be useless.
