For more than a week already, I have been hearing Bob Marley and musicals. That’s how I keep up with my busyness. I need those kind of music so that I can work harder and faster too. Sometimes without music, I feel like my brain is not working and really need a dose of reggae and musical in order to work. I am not fond of rock music so a music with DW drums on the background is not my style, not unless of course if it is rock musical like the case of Jesus Christ Superstar, which is also included on my playlist.
Tools For Gardening
When I started gardening, I thought my hands, some soil and pots are the only tools that I will be needing. Now that I am gardening for months, I never thought that I will even blinds on my list.
Now, I have 2 hand trowel, a medium one and a smaller one (for the kids). Hand Trowel I used to transfer soil mixture tot he pots. I also have a digging fork that I use to loosen compact soils. I also have hand cultivator that I haven’t used yet. I am planning to buy a hose so that watering would be easier but I think I can use some exercise.
Shopping For Beds
We have been planning to move the two older boys on a room of their own. But the boys were not ready yet. I have been talking to them the advantage of having their own room but they are not buying it. I also showed them really nice beds and bunk beds that they can choose from but no, their answer is still the same, they are not ready yet.
So for now, I have to put off my dream of buying a new bed for us, I have been rooting some white gloss beds that I saw on the internet and really fell in love with some of the beds. Since the boys won’t be moving out really soon, our room space cannot accommodate bed with a frame (we’re not using bed frames since we two beds with frame will not fit on the room).
Bu I do enjoy window shopping for furniture, specially bedroom furniture. Whenever I visit malls, it is in my routine to drop by at the furniture store. I love looking at the beds and learning about the furniture. I specially like it when they sell bigger sized beds as it is not often that I see California King size beds (on of my dream bed). The usual size I see on malls where Queen sized beds and of course, double and single.
Gardening Momma
I have been very busy the past few weeks gardening. In fact I stay on my garden longer than I stay online. I really enjoy this new hobby. I always thought that I do not have a green thumb, but now I think I have, not as green as my mom though.
Last week, we were able to taste some of our veggies and it feels like eating a birthday cupcakes from berries.com. It’s fun and the taste is really good.
My garden includes Chinese kangkong, okra, sigarilyas, eggpplant at pepper.
A Small Room for Music
It would be better if w can have a small space in the house that will be devoted to music. Like a place where there is a dock station for our music player and a place where an ultrasone headphones can be placed too. It will be a small space where we can listen to the music at peace. Well, the house we are renting has only two rooms, if ever we can find a place with 3 bedrooms, that would be possible. A music room seems very appealing.
