Folding Clothes Made Easy

I was looking for ways to make folding easier not for me but for the people who want to help me out with my chores. I have no problem my folding technique, I know how to fold my clothes in a very tidy manner. I can do in a matter of seconds for each clothes and the result are almost the same. I found this great video that makes folding clothes easy as 2 seconds! Watch out closely and see how it is done:

Now, I have to device a way so that the folded clothes would fit perfectly on our closet. I have my own measurement when it comes to our clothes 🙂

Let’s Spend The Day Folding Clothes

I am not done with my laundry yet.. mountain like piled of laundry, 3 weeks worth of clothing. The past few days has been very very busy.. spend the weekend at my hometown..that’s 3 weeks ago and that was the last time I did my laundry. So just imagine how high it was piled up before I had the courage to finally start putting those on the washing machine.

Now comes the hardest part.. folding the clothes! The most tiring and time consuming is the small clothes.. undershirts, underwear and socks. And of course the fact that I am such an OC when it comes to folding.. you know, everything should be neatly fold.. yeah just like the one at malls and boutiques.. straight lines,not necessarily color coded, but straight please.

I have like, 2 or 3 hampers of clothes that needs to be fold.. so if you need me today, you know where you can find.. that is if you can find me underneath all those clothes!

Rainy Days And The Laundry

Weather conditions change over time. It is not always sunny. There are times it will be rainy or stormy and in other areas, snowy. How then can you dry your laundry under these weather conditions especially if you do not have the equipment to wash and dry automatically with just the press of some buttons? Have at least a dryer, one that gets most of the water out and have the laundry almost damp.

Have a clothesline inside the house (in your laundry room or anywhere there is a roof over it) but make sure you have simple knots spaced about 4 inches apart. These knots will keep the hangers from sliding all to the center and have your clothes stuck together which will prevent your clothes to dry completely.

Hanger everything so you use your space vertically. (Have lots of hangers.)

Use a fabric conditioner to avoid the possibility of smelling musty because they were not sun-dried. I always use two kinds of fabric conditioner, one is for our clothes (Downy isang banlaw) and one for the clothes of my kids (Downy antibacterial).
